Excursion Bo-kaap cape malay cooking & lunch experience tour at Cape Town

The guided walking tour begins outside the Bo-Kaap Museum, where guests escorted on a walking tour through the masala route and visit a spice shop. At the spice shop they will be introduced to the mysteries of eastern spices.
A brief stroll through the historic colourful streets and cobbled roads of Bokaap ends at the host's home where a hands-on experience takes place in the kitchen. Guests will discover the secrets of mixing masala, making dahltjies (chilli bites), making and folding samoosas, making and frying rootis and learning the traditional way to cook a mouth-watering Cape Malay Curry which they will enjoy in a sit down lunch whilst the hosts entertains them with local recipes and stories of food, culture and life.
Guests will also receive a recipe booklet and a few spices to take home with them.
