Excursion Phong nha cave tour at Dong My

Take an early morning visit to Phong Na Cave in Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, selected in 2003 as a UNESCO World Heritage site. The park is named after Phong Nha Cave and the Ke Bang Forest and contains the oldest karst mountains in Asia, formed approximately 400 million years ago. Phong Nha Cave is 7.7 km long with 14 grottos and a 14 km long underground river and is famous for rock formations.
Transfer from the quayside by bus to Phong Nha boat jetty where you will board a small boat that will take you the 30-minute journey to the mouth of the cave. Gliding into the cave marvel at the stalagmites and stalactites and enjoy some time to explore with your guide and then independently. The cave's rock formations are known for their lifelike shapes, including the "Lion", the "Fairy Caves" the "Royal Court" and the "Buddha."
After exploring, enjoy the ride back to the boat jetty and transfer by bus to the picturesque Phong Nha Lake House for a cold, refreshing beer.
Please note: This tour requires two hours of boating on a small craft and walking on uneven ground, sometimes bent over inside of caves, and is therefore not recommended for guests with limited mobility or those who utilize a wheelchair. Casual clothes and sneakers are recommended, as well as sunscreen, sunglasses, and hat.
