Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute narrated drive to Orient Beach, which features approximately 1.5 miles (about 2.4 kilometres) of beautiful, white-sand beach, fringed by coconut palms and sea grape trees. This idyllic beach is critically acclaimed as the 'French Riviera of the Caribbean'. En route, learn about the history of the island and take in spectacular panoramic views of your surrounds. Upon arrival at the beach, proceed to either the Kakao or Kontiki Beach Bar and Restaurant.

Your approximately four-hour VIP experience begins with a welcome glass of champagne whilst being escorted to your personal reserved lounge chair and umbrella. Sunbathing, Optional Water Sports and Shopping

After lunch, ample time is available for sunbathing, another swim, and an opportunity to check out the water sports options at your own expense. At the conclusion of your visit, you can re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier, or opt to be dropped off in downtown Philipsburg for shopping and/or sightseeing, and return to the ship on your own.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 437 yards-656 yards (about 400 metres-600 metres), at times over sandy surfaces and wooden decks, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but is not wheelchair-accessible. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with flat, closed-toe walking or beach shoes, and bring sun protection, a towel, change of clothing, and cash for purchases from the ship. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour. Orient Beach is European-style, and nudity may be observed. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. Shops may remain closed on Sundays. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
