After a short walk to the bike center, you’ll receive a safety briefing before setting off to explore the city’s most iconic sights. Your guide will lead you along the scenic fjord, crossing the new bike bridge for stunning views of Munkholmen, Trondheim’s fortress island, once the site of Viking-era public executions.

Pause to capture photos and admire the city’s architectural gems, including the iconic Nidaros Cathedral and the historic Archbishop’s Palace. As you pedal through the charming Bakklandet district, the Old Town, you’ll pass rows of picturesque wooden houses that define Trondheim’s character. On your return, ride through Solsiden, a former shipyard transformed into a lively hub of restaurants, bars, and local flair.

After cycling past Trondheim’s most significant landmarks, head back to the bike center and return to your awaiting ship energized and enriched by this unique perspective on the city.

Please note: Terrain includes some moderate hills and inclines, however these are made easy with the e-bikes. Participants must be in good physical condition and must know how to ride a bicycle. Wear clothing suitable for riding a bike. Shade is limited; to avoid sunburn, wear light, long clothing suitable for use as a cover-up. Bring a hat and sunglasses. Bring bottled water. Helmets are provided and must be worn. Pregnant women are not allowed to participate. Wear comfortable walking shoes. Minimum height is 4'3" (130 cm). Minimum age is 12 years. Maximum weight is 275 lbs. The duration of the tour may vary slightly depending on the group’s pace and the time spent at each stop. The tour may also operate in reverse order. Depending on docking location of the ship, a shuttle transfer may be required to reach the bike shop.
