Highlights include the Swakopmund Hotel, the German Lutheran Church, Altes Amtsgericht, and Hohenzollern Haus, each reflecting the town’s rich colonial past.  Next, visit the Swakopmund Museum to discover the town’s intriguing history and learn about the diverse peoples inhabiting Namibia. Please note: This tour is available to in-transit guests continuing on to the following cruise. Transfer time to/from Swakopmund 45 minutes each way. A moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 1 km (0.6 miles). At times over gravel roads and uneven surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach. It is not suitable for guests with limited mobility. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection is recommended.
