Aquaculture Centre Walking Tour and Salmon Tasting

This unique fish farming center offers a glimpse of life with the sea. As most of Norway is ocean and coastline, utilizing the resources of these fertile, clean waters has been, and remains, one of the most important businesses for Norwegians. The country is well positioned to be a leader in environmentally friendly and responsible aquaculture.

During your visit you can learn first-hand about modern aquaculture from the people who raise fish from eggs and harvest them as high-quality seafood. It's a fascinating place, built on the protected waters of a strait. Underwater cameras, fish feeding, informative films and guided tours led by employees, all enrich your experience.

Following your guided tour, proceed for a tasting of grilled salmon.
