Note

Please note: This experience includes approximately 0.6 miles (1 km) of walking and approximately 1.2 miles (2 km) of sea kayaking, with about 1 hour spent on the water. Guests should expect their lower legs and seat area to get wet during the kayaking experience and are advised to wear clothing they do not mind getting wet. A rash guard, shorts, sandals or water shoes, and sunglasses are highly recommended. Kayaking activities operate rain or shine; however, local guides will make a final decision based on weather and sea conditions. For safety reasons, the kayaking route may be altered or shortened. Kayaking near or beneath the iconic Great Torii Gate is only possible when the tide level exceeds 180 cm and sea conditions are calm, and therefore cannot be guaranteed. The itinerary may vary for operational reasons.
