Benoa, Coffee Plantation & Tasting
Depart from the pier of Benoa, relax and enjoy the scenery of one hour and 45-minute drive brings you into the lush countryside of Negari to visit Coffee Plantation. Upon arrival, a guided walk through shaded pathways to explore coffee plantations and other tropical spices as well as to observe up-close the Bali coffee - making process. This offers a wonderful experience trip on your holiday in Bali where you can taste our local coffee, tea, and chocolate. The local Balinese farmers are very creative to plant variety of coffee but two species of coffee that mostly planted in this island includes Robusta and Arabica. The farmers are stepping into a new idea to create their coffee plantation as a tourist where you may visit it with some coffee for free tasting.
Bedulu Village & Goa Gajah Monastery
Leaving Negari Coffee Plantation behind, your journey continues on to the small village of Bedulu to visit Goa Gajah Monastery, an ancient Hindu Monastery built in the 11th.century during the reign of one of the most famous Balinese king Udayana who ruled with His Javanese Queen called Mahendradatta. This ancient monastery was discovered in 1923 and were excavated in 1954 by the government archaeologist working under the Dutch expert named Krijman. And this ancient monastery was used by both both Buddhist and Hindu Monks and the king as well as His descendants as a place of retreat and meditation during the kingdom era in Bali.
Lunch, Celuk Village & Silver Workshop
After touring the ancient monastery ground, proceed to the restaurant located in Maya Ubud Resort (Maya Sari Restaurant), where your lunch will be served. After lunch, as your tour draws to a close and before transferring to the Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar, Bali, you'll make your way to the final stop at the village of Celuk, a center of gold and silver work where over half the village's population is involved in the silver industry. Original designs in delicate filigree make Balinese jewelry one of the most remarkable styles in Asia. As with most Balinese crafts, gold and silver work is largely a hereditary trade with apprentices beginning to train at a young age and by the time they reach the age of 12, already producing fine ornaments.
After conclusion of your memorable visit, your motor coach then takes you directly to Ngurah Rai International Airport of Denpasar.
