Warnemunde, Bad Doberan, Doberan Abbey and Minster
Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 45-minute drive to the town of Bad Doberan. Upon arrival, a visit is made to the Doberan Abbey (Kloster Doberan) and Minster. Dating from 1368, this former Cistercian monastery is adorned with an impressive façade, and one of Europe's finest examples of Brick Gothic architecture. During your guided walking tour, marvel at the stunning, vaulted interior and 14th-century cross.
Train Station, Narrow-Gauge Steam Train-Ride, Baltic Coastline, Forests, Fields
Following your tour, re-board your coach for the short drive to the local train station. Upon arrival, board the historic and charming, narrow-gauge train, Molli, which is pulled by a steam engine. Take a picturesque ride along the beautiful Baltic coastline, and traverse lovely forests and fields en route to the charming coastal resort of Kuhlungsborn.

Upon arrival at Kuhlungsborn, proceed for a refreshment stop at a seaside restaurant. Afterward, some free time is made available to explore the area at your leisure. You can enjoy the beach, stroll along the small wooden pier, browse the shops for souvenirs or simply relax in a 'strandkorb', a traditional wicker beach chair typical of this part of the coast.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of walking for approximately 500 yards (about 500 metres), at times over uneven, gravel and cobblestone surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach, five steps at the railway station and five-ten steps at the sites visited. Walking at Kuhlungsborn is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but is not wheelchair-accessible. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended. The tour sequence may vary.
