Kujyukushima Island Tourism Park

Depart from the pier for an approximate 1-hour drive to Kujyukushima Island Tourism Park, home to the expansive Hill of View, a sweeping lawn overlooking a magnificent panorama of the island-studded sea. With 208 islands scattered across the horizon—only four of them inhabited—the vistas here are truly striking. This beautifully designed park also features a celebrated photo spot, the Kujyukushima monument, making it an ideal place for strolling and taking in the scenery.

Continue with a short transfer to the Kujyukushima Pearl Sea Resort. Here, board your vessel for an enchanting 50-minute island cruise. Glide between the bays and passages of this extraordinary archipelago, passing 21 of the islands along the way. From the comfort of your boat, take in rugged coastlines, dense forests, and the serene beauty that gives Kujyukushima its reputation as one of Japan’s most scenic maritime landscapes.

Following your visit, you will begin the 30-minute drive back to the ship.

Please Note: This tour involves a minimal walking of approximately 0.6 meters (0.37 miles) of walking and a few steps at each venue and to get on and off the coach/boat. It is not suitable for wheelchair users, as accessible boats or accessible coaches are not available. Walking distances at Kujyukushima Island Tourism Park may increase depending on how much of the park guests wish to explore. Surfaces are mostly paved but may include gentle slopes. The boat used for the cruise does not have ramped access. Lightweight, comfortable clothing and flat, closed-toe walking shoes are strongly recommended. Sun protection is advisable when spending time outdoors and on the vessel. Japanese yen is required for any purchases: guests are advised to exchange money at the airport prior the cruise.
