Excursion Kayaking in the mangrove forest tour at Deshaies

Kayaking is an ecological way to explore the blue waters of Guadeloupe. Le Grand-Cul-de-Sac Lagoon is composed of mangrove forests, several islets and ecosystems.

Kayak along the mangroves where birds such as herons, frigates and egrets have made their home. Then see starfish, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and herbaria.

Stop at Ilet Biche, nearest to the coral reef to have a bath. Then slowly, kayak back to the kayak center.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of activity (approx. 3.30 hours is spent on the water) and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes are recommended. There is a height restriction of 2M per guest and a weight restriction of 100kg per person. Please wear your swimsuit under a cover-up, towels will be provided by the ship
