Drive one hour to your starting point of coastal, sloping terrain of Cape Billano hiking towards the highlight of the tour, the Lighthouse Gorliz. Its white tower, modern design, this 21 m tall and is located on a stunning cliff of 165m, making it the tallest lighthouse in the Cantabrian coast, with a range of 29 miles. The structure is relatively recently built (1990) into the cliff, giving this landmark the nickname of "The Lighthouse at the Edge of the World." Enjoy the stunning views from this vantage point and observe the remains of a cannon that once served to defend the bay.

From the lighthouse the tour continues heading east, taking the path between coastal oaks to ascend to the summit of Mount Ermua (289 meters), offering views of the Island Billano below, jutting out from the sea dramatically.

Total waking distance is approximately 4 miles (6.5km). Complete your 2.5-hour hike and make the 1-hour return drive to the ship.
