Excursion Discovering the paradise valley tour at Agadir
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Take a half day to discover Paradise Valley, located in the Moroccan High Atlas mountains. Part of a section of the Tamraght River valley, Paradise Valley was once a "hippie hangout" and is still known for its unique landscape of many rock pools and a small waterfall.
Depart from the pier for a 45-minute drive to Paradise Valley, stopping at Tamzagrout Village as your starting point. Hop out of the coach and begin your walk to the gorge, traveling on foot from the city to the countryside to see the nature of Morocco, with its tiny streams and dramatic mountain gorges.
Enjoy a moment of peace in this unique place before re-boarding the coach to travel to the Botanical Garden in Agadir, offering a collection of more than 300 species of aquatic, tropical, succulent and cactus plantings. Enjoy Moroccan tea and local products at the garden before making the return drive to the ship.
