Excursion Dinner & tango show at rojo tango tour at Buenos Aires
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
In the late-19th century, Buenos Aires was becoming an immigrant city where frustrated and melancholic Europeans displaced gaucho rustics, who gradually retreated to the distant countryside. The children of these immigrants became the first generation of porteños, and the tango epitomized their new urban lifestyle. Permeated with nostalgia over a disappearing way of life, the tango expressed their fears, anxieties and passions, and eventually evolved into one of the world's most renowned dance forms.
Depart the pier for the short drive to the Rojo Tango House. Located inside the Fanea Hotel & Universe, Rojo Tango is the most exclusive tango house in Buenos Aires and features the most traditional dancing and music. Upon arrival, you are seated and served dinner. Indulge in an exquisite dining experience with a three-course a la carte menu, complimented by one soft beverage and a half bottle of wine. Afterward, take in a splendid performance of traditional tango dancing, with musical accompaniment provided by tango singers and an orchestra. At the conclusion of the tango show, re-board your coach for the short drive back to the pier.
