Your first stop takes you to a honey farm, where you’ll discover the fascinating world of Corsican beekeeping. With a history dating back centuries, the local honey production thrives thanks to the island’s Mediterranean climate and abundant flora. Corsican honey is renowned for its distinctive taste, ranging from sweet and mild to strong and fruity, all produced from over 2800 plant species, including 127 endemic varieties. Learn about the crucial role bees play in maintaining the island’s biodiversity and taste some of the most exquisite honeys, each reflecting the island's rich natural environment.

Next, visit Corsica Pam, an organic Essential Oil distillery, where you’ll be introduced to the therapeutic side of Corsica’s flora. With an abundance of aromatic plants and trees, Corsica is home to a wide range of natural ingredients used in aromatherapy, medicinal treatments, and perfumery. At the distillery, you’ll witness the process of turning flowers, leaves, and herbs into 13 essential oils, floral waters, and massage oils. These oils, known for their healing properties, are used to enhance well-being and create perfumes that capture the essence of the island’s stunning landscapes.

Please note: This tour involves a short amount of walking of about 350 meters between the honey tasting and the essential oil distillery, with a few steps involved at each venue. The tour is suitable for guests with limited mobility, but those requiring wheelchair assistance must be accompanied, as there are uneven surfaces. Comfortable, flat shoes are recommended for walking, along with a hat or cap for sun protection. Guests are advised to bring euros for any purchases, as U.S. dollars are not accepted. The tour includes a honey tasting experience, where guests will sample six different types of Corsican honey. While beverages are not provided, additional drinks can be purchased at the honey farm. Please be aware that this tour is not recommended for individuals with severe allergies to bees or specific essential oils. Guests must also be at least 18 years old to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages if applicable.
