Brønnøysund Bridge,Torghatten

On the way to Torget you will cross the graceful arch of the Brønnøysund Bridge giving you the best view of the internationally known mountain, Torghatten. Torghatten is the subject of many myths and legends, which your guide will share with you as you learn about how the sea erosion over years created a large hole through the mountain. This large hole measures approximately 525 feet in length, 115 feet in height and up to 65 feet in width.

Brønnøy Church,Gåsheia

After admiring the wonderful views, you will continue your sightseeing tour of the city's major sights. Returning to town you will visit the Brønnøy Church. This church was constructed from stone in 1870, but the choir wall and entrance date back to the Middle Ages, and the site has been used for worship since the 1200s.

Next, head for a photo stop at Gåsheia, a splendid viewpoint with view of the surrounding fjords and mountains, including seeing through the hole at Torghatten.
