Costa Smeralda is beautiful and impeccably clean, but too spread out.
Visually appealing, but not particularly functional. From the suites on Deck 8, the dedicated restaurant cannot be reached when the buffet is closed: you either have to go outside or go down and then back up. Absurd.
A beautiful ship equipped with all services and comforts, except for the Colosseum, but overall everything was excellent!

Costa Smeralda is one of the newest ships, together with Costa Toscana, but for me it has something extra compared to all the others, because it makes you feel truly pampered.

Exceptional ship.
Ship is too scattered.. few pools, small and always packed. Buffet and restaurant hours are not suitable.. the quality of the food is poor as are the choices.. The theater is badly arranged and the shows are mediocre. Little staff at the reception and not very welcoming and sometimes not kind. The buffet is packed and with poor organization, endless queues to find a place and to get food. The gym hours are not in line with the breakfast and tour hours. Exaggerated price for the quality of the services.
