The ship Costa Fortuna is now outdated. Costa is becoming increasingly disappointing (I have taken several cruises with them over the past 15 years, and the quality has steadily declined).
Poor communication (only via the app), insufficient instructions for disembarkation and a mandatory single return route. Overall standards have declined.
Everything was wonderful, we had an excellent experience! Our cabin was always spotless; we stayed in cabin 11042 from 02 to 09, 2026, and our cabin steward was extremely efficient. Meeting Maria, the Germany Manager, was also a highlight: she was a great help to us. And even those whose names I cannot recall were all fantastic!
I will definitely travel with you again soon.
Professionally sound, even though, compared with previous cruises, it has significantly reduced what used to be one of the company’s strengths (shore assistance and, above all, table service at lunch or dinner; the absence of tablecloths made it feel like a company cafeteria).
I find that the quality has declined.
There are ups and downs; sometimes everything goes well, sometimes there are a few issues, but overall the value for money is excellent.
