Bequia, Boat-Ride, Kingstown, Fort Charlotte

Depart the pier aboard a boat for the scenic, approximately 50-minute ride to Kingstown, the chief port and capital city of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Upon arrival, board a minibus and head for a visit to Fort Charlotte, an early-19th-century historical fort with cultural and historical significance. Upon arrival, take a guided walking tour of the fort to learn about the history of St. Vincent.

Layou, Layou Petroglyph Park, Amer-Indian Art, Walliabou, Pirates of the Caribbean Film Set

Next, re-board your minibus and head to Layou, a fishing village in St. Vincent. Layou is often described as the 'True Caribbean' due to its distinctive, old Caribbean vibe. Upon arrival, stop by the Layou Petroglyph Park, an UNESCO World Heritage Site dating back to 300 A.D. Here, beautiful, native Amer-Indian art and inscriptions gracefully line the surrounding pavements and stones. Following your visit, re-board your minibus and head westward to Walliabou for a tour of Disney's prestigious Pirates of the Caribbean film set. Upon arrival, explore the highlights of the infamous, five-film franchise.

Darvue Waterfalls, Refreshments

Afterward, re-board your minibus and continue on to the gushing Darvue Waterfalls, an approximately 75-foot (about 23-metre) waterfall that cascades down a sheer rock face into a small pool. Upon arrival, you take in the breath-taking location, and relax with cold refreshments (Waterfall levels are continuing to drop at this iconic location with snorkeling not guaranteed during periods of drought).

Beachfront Restaurant, Lunch, Kingston, Boat-Ride, Bequia, Port Elizabeth

Leaving the waterfalls, re-board your minibus and proceed for a buffet lunch at the Beachfront restaurant. After lunch drive back to port in Kingstown and board the ferry for the 65-minute transfer back to Bequia. Upon arrival, you are dropped off at Port Elizabeth. Located only a minute from the port, this classic Caribbean town is filled with colourful sailboats, schooners and visiting yachts, and the main shopping district in Bequia. You can browse the shops here for handicrafts, souvenirs, food and beverages, then commence the short walk back to the pier.
