Excursion Scenic rostock tour at Warnemünde

Enjoy a scenic drive through Mecklenburg County and the city of Rostock.
A 30-minute drive will take you to Rostock, passing thorugh the typical eastern-bloc living quarters of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern's largest city. Drive through Rostock's centre with its century’s old red-brick architecture and Hanseatic vibe. Pass the old New Market with its beautiful City Hall, and St Mary's Church, Rostock's famous landmark. Continue past ruins of the old city walls and a former STASI prison (State Security of former East Germany, that was commanded by the KGB), before continuing your panoramic journey into the countryside.
You will pass by the Bad Doberan Cathedral, one of Northern Germany’s largest and mightiest medieval churches that towers above the rest of the village and the nearby fields. From here you will continue through countryside and small villages before returning to the quayside.
