Please note: This experience includes approximately 1.2 miles (2 km) of walking on uneven stone paths, paved roads, and stairs within the monastery complexes. Steps at the monasteries can be numerous and steep, and handrails may be limited. Modest dress is required to enter the monasteries; shoulders and knees must be covered.
