San Martino Hill Cable Car

Continue your experience with local public transportation on a visit to the highest part of the city, San Martino Hill, in a cable car. At the top absorb the incredible aerial views of the entire city of Naples. Here, visit the Certosa di San Martino, a former monastery founded in 1325 by Carlo duca di Calabria that has since been turned into a museum.

Castel dell'Ovo

Board a private minibus for a comfortable and scenic route including Posillipo Hill, where there is time to photograph the exquisite panoramic view of the city. Along the way, see the island of Megaride and Egg Castle (Castel dell'Ovo), where according to legend, the lifeless body of a mermaid called Parthenome washed ashore.

Pizza Lunch, Historic Centre of Naples (UNESCO)

After lunch at an upscale local pizzeria, experience history on foot with an astonishing guided walking tour through the Historic Centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Naples' heart and city center. Promenade along the "Naples splitter," a long and narrow road that seems to divide the city into two nearly equal parts. Stroll past the Christmas street of San Gregorio Armeno, where shop keepers have been selling finely handcrafted Nativity figurines for centuries.  

At the conclusion of your visit, re-board the minibus for the return 30-minute drive to the ship.

Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of walking, approximately 5 miles (about 8 km) over uneven natural terrain and at least 100 steps at the venues, making this tour not recommended for guests with limited mobility. Guests must be careful when walking through very busy and bustling neighborhoods. The tour is not suitable for guests who utilise walkers or a wheelchair and unfortunately the coach transport is not equipped to handle wheelchairs. While there is no official age minimum, parents are recommended to take into consideration the high amount of activity involved before bringing a young child on this excursion. Guests are recommended to wear comfortable shoes and bring a sunhat and sunscreen in late spring and summer. Space on this tour is limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
