Excursion Kayak menorca tour at Port Mahon
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
The island of Menorca, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1993, is a true paradise for sea kayaking. Menorca is the northernmost of the Balearic Islands where the landscape is like a mosaic due to its unusual geology. Sandy beaches; colourful rocky coastal areas alternate with high cliffs, typical fishing villages and quaint little ports. It is the perfect natural setting to discover by kayak.
Kayak Adventure
Many of the untouched virgin beaches can only be reached from the sea, and so kayaking is often the way to find that empty white stretch of sand even in the height of the summer season. Unlike motor boats, kayaks can get really close up to the coast line, get to unusual and interesting places all whilst the only noise is that of the sea birds and lapping water.
Your Kayak journey begins at the bay of Fornells in the north of the island.
Upon arrival, receive your safety briefing, paddle and tour instructions before commencing your 2.5-hour guided kayaking Adventure up to beacons of la Mola. You will then have time to practice snorkeling in the Island of Tirant (a marine reserve) before your last stop at s'Arenelet beach.
Once out of the water, re-board your coach for the return trip to the pier.
