Bizan Ropeway & Observatory

Depart from pier for a 1-hour drive to Mount Bizan where you will board the ropeway for a scenic ascent to the summit. As you glide upward, enjoy expanding vistas of Tokushima City, the Yoshino River, and distant mountain ranges. At the top, step out onto the observatory to admire the region's natural beauty from one of its most iconic viewpoints.

Ryozenji Temple

Continue to Ryozenji Temple, the first temple on the famed 88-temple Shikoku Pilgrimage. Explore its serene gardens, halls, and ritual areas, observing pilgrims as they perform traditional practices that date back centuries. This welcoming atmosphere offers a meaningful glimpse into Japan’s Buddhist heritage before you return to the pier with an hour drive back.
