Scenic Drive to Berlin

Depart the pier for the scenic, approximate three-hour drive through the north German countryside to Berlin.  En route, you are provided with breakfast snacks and informational material about Berlin.

Berlin Sightseeing

Upon arrival, begin your orientation drive through the city.  Along the way, pass by sites that include the Alexander Square, Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, sections of the Berlin Wall, and Potsdam Square.

Lunch, Sightseeing and Leisure Time

After a traditional German lunch, your tour continues with more sightseeing and approximately an hour of free time for shopping and independent exploration.  At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximate three-hour drive back to the pier.

Please note: This tour requires a moderate amount of walking for approximately 350 yards (320 metres), with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and 20-30 steps at the sites visited. The drive between the pier and Berlin is approximately three hours in each direction.  This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair.  Lightweight, comfortable clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.  The tour sequence may vary.   Please bring Euros or credit card for any personal expenses.
