Excursion Ancient hoi an town tour at Da Nang

Approximately 20 miles (32 kilometres) south of Da Nang lies Hoi An, Vietnam's treasure chest of history. Visit this picturesque river town, remained unchanged for centuries, on this full-day excursion.


Initially an important trading port, Hoi An boasts some of Vietnam's most historic architecture as well as colourful temples and old community houses. After an hour's drive by coach from the pier, arrive at Hoi An and proceed on foot to the centre of this ancient town. During your stay, experience the following highlights:


Covered Bridge and Ancient House

From the museum, continue with the walking tour to the local market for a look at the colourful display of produce, fruits, flower and fish. Next, head toward the Covered Bridge and take a stroll across for a visit of an ancient home on the other side.


Phuoc Kien Temple

A brief stop at this ornate Chinese temple dedicated to Thien Hau, Goddess of the Sea, is made before walking back to the coach parking area.

Following there will be lunch in a local restaurant


Then, begin the return trip to Da Nang and the ship.


Please note: This tour requires an extensive amount of walking. Exploration of the town is entirely on foot, a duration of about 2.5 hours, mainly on flat ground, with some steps to climb. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. Driving time to and from Hoi An is approximately one hour each way. Lightweight clothing and comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
