Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery
Start your tour with a visit to Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, the only commercial eucalyptus distillery operating in South Australia. Eucalyptus Oil distilling was once one of Kangaroo Island’s major industries. It began in the 1880's and was a supplementary income for the farmers clearing their land for sheep farming. In the 1930's it reached its peak with 48 distilleries employing over 600 people and there were around 100 stills on the Island. At the distillery ou will find an extensive range of local art, crafts and produce from the gift shop. During your stop enjoy some cider tasting.
Clifford's Honey Farm
Next, re-board your coach and drive for a visit to Clifford's Honey Farm, where over 22,000 pounds (10,000 kilograms) of honey is produced annually. Kangaroo Island is the only place in the world where a pure strain of Ligurian bee exists. Upon arrival, take a guided tour of the Honey Room and facility, explore the honey collection, extraction and production processes, and participate in a tasting of honey varieties.
False Cape Wines
The last stop is at a local winery (False Cape Wines or similar) tasting establishment sampling Kangaroo Islands premium wine. Learn about the process of their wine making and sample some of their finest wine.
Re-board your coach and commence a short transfer back to the pier.

Please note: This tour requires a moderate amount of walking for approximately 250 yards (about 229 metres), at times over natural, uneven and slippery ground, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the venues. This tour is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or those who utilise a wheelchair. Lightweight, comfortable layered clothing, flat, closed-toe walking shoes, sun protection and a sweater are recommended.
