Excursion World-famous tt course by trike tour at Douglas

Cruise line: Silversea
Difficulty:

The Isle of Man has a long history of motorcycle racing and each year the world’s finest road racers pit their skills against the 37 ¾ miles of public roads that form the legendary TT Course. The TT races began in 1907 and they have long been considered one of the “greatest, most exciting and most dangerous motorcycle sporting events of the world”, attracting racers and fans from far and wide.

Enjoy the beauty of the Isle of Man with a difference as you take to the roads on a specially designed 3-seater trike. Most of the roads on the Island have no speed limit, a factor that attracts many motorcycle enthusiasts. The emphasis of this tour is on experiencing the world-famous Tourist Trophy Course as a ‘biker’ rather than a motorist.

With your knowledgeable driver you will experience the course that the world’s most daring riders experience each year.  Departing from Douglas, travel through to the outskirts of Onchan, before winding through the Creg Na Baa back road - formerly part of the Clypse Course used for road racing between 1954 and 1959.  You'll then head backwards on today's TT Course to Joey Dunlop's memorial.  For the final part of the tour, you'll follow the TT Mountain Course passing the Grandstand and start/finish line before returning to Douglas.
