Newly-designed especially for our valued World Cruise guests, your World Cruise Collection tour begins with a scenic, approximately 1.5-hour drive to Hue, the Imperial City. Upon arrival at the starting-point for the bicycling portion of your tour, receive your safety instructions, helmet, and mountain-bike. Afterward, begin your guided bicycle tour along the An Cuu river en route to the countryside. Along the way, pass by rural villages and observe the local farmers toiling in their rice fields.

Local Community Temple, Van The Farm, Refreshments

Next, continue on for a visit to a local community temple to explore the traditional worshiping culture of the central Vietnamese people. The community temple is dedicated to worshipping the village God, the village's founder. It also serves as a meeting-place for the community residents. During your visit, your guide explains the village history and temple architecture. Leaving the temple, hop back on your bicycle and head to the Van The Farm, located in the middle of the village. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshment, discover how their beautiful flowers and vegetables are cultivated, and how the farmers earn their living based on their vegetable gardens.

Leaving the farm, re-board your bicycle for a ride to the beautiful Dam Chuong Lagoon in Hue City. The lagoon is a part of Tam Giang Lagoon System, and the exquisite scenery here is unmatched in the region. Upon arrival, embark a local boat for a picturesque and relaxing cruise on the lagoon. Along the way, observe the local lifestyles, fishing activities, fishing traps, and floating houses around the lagoon from up-close. Following your lagoon cruise, proceed for a barbecued seafood lunch at a local restaurant on the lagoon. After lunch, your World Cruise Collection excursion concludes with an approximately two-hour drive back to the pier.

Please note: This World Cruise Collection tour involves an extensive amount of bicycling for approximately 10.5 miles-12.4 miles (about 17 kilometres-20 kilometres) and a minimal amount of walking for approximately 109 yards (about 100 metres), at times over uneven, natural, and cobblestone surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and bicycle and embark/disembark the boat, and three-four steps at each of the sites visited. This tour is recommended for guests who are in good physical condition and experienced bike-riders, have recently ridden and/or are confident on a bicycle, and able to ride a bicycle for long distances. Participants must also be comfortable with handbrakes and riding downhill. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests prone to seasickness, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable clothing in layers with flat, closed-toe walking shoes or sneakers, and bring sun protection, raingear, bottled water, and local currency or credit cards for purchases from the ship; high-heel shoes are not permitted. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Guests weighing over 198 pounds (about 90 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. The total bicycling time is approximately two hours. Helmets are included, and must be worn at all times during the bicycle-riding portion of this tour. The driving direction between the pier and Hue is approximately 1.5 hours-two hours in each direction. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour.
