Discover Sweden’s most westerly province, Bohuslän, renowned for its rugged coastline and the breathtaking archipelago comprising over 8,000 islands. Your journey begins with an approximately 75 minutes drive to Vitlycke, where you will visit the Tanum Rock Carvings Museum, home to a comprehensive record of all known archaeological sites in the region.

Meet your guide at the museum, then continue by coach to the famous rock carvings located approximately 2-4 kilometers away. These remarkable carvings have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994 and offer a fascinating glimpse into prehistoric life. Enjoy some free time to explore and marvel at these ancient works of art.

The tour then proceeds with a scenic coach ride back to Lysekil, where you'll take a guided walk from Lysekil Church through the charming Old Town, soaking in the historic atmosphere and local sights.

At the conclusion of your walk, you will reboard your coach for the return journey to the pier, where the tour ends.
