Excursion Stroll through la paz tour at La Paz

The historical city of La Paz embraces all locals and visitors, everyone can witness the peaceful and slow rhythm feeling once they walk along the Malecon, surrounded by art pieces and sculptures. The tour begins at the Cathedral, then a walk through the Jardin Velasco from where, you will be walking down hill to the Cultural Center, where you will see a Paint Trilogy of the Peninsula´s history as well as a local artist exposition that changes every month.

Once you have enjoyed the beauty of that 1900´s historic building that first used to be a Spanish fortress, then the City Hall and more recently the Culture Center, you will walk down the street to enjoy an ice cream at La Fuente.

You will walk into the Malecon or boardwalk where your guide will show you the Municipal Pier, where in XVII century La Paz received the very first Spanish conquerors and missionaries. Your guide will also point out about the Malecon sculptures that bear witness to the local history of La Paz and the Baja Peninsula and walk along the Malecon, enjoying the amazing view of the bay, stopping at Queen Elizabeth Pier to close your adventure for the day.
