Experience Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity with a visit to the renowned sloth sanctuary made famous by National Geographic and their more than 30 years of caring for those lovely creatures, followed by a scenic cruise through the Tortuguero Canals. Encounter rainforest wildlife, observe conservation efforts up close, and journey through lush landscapes by land and water.

Important Details
• At the Sloth Rescue Center there are 14 steps, walking is about 600 meters; not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
• We suggest you wear comfortable clothes and shoes, and bring a camera/binocular, insect repellent and raingear.
• While wildlife sightings might be common, they cannot be guaranteed, for logistical reasons the operation of the tour might not be in the order described and the cemented walkway rises only 1-2 feet above the ground.
• The transfer operates by late model motorcoach and open-air boats. Toilets are not available on the boats.
• A waiver must be signed for admittance on the tour. Minimum age is 8 years.
