Excursion Šibenik & stankovci: coastal heritage & rural traditions tour at Sibenik

This offers an introduction to Šibenik, one of the oldest coastal towns in Croatia and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

A guided tour through the historic Old Town showcases its narrow stone streets, medieval architecture, and significant landmarks such as the exterior of the Cathedral of St. James, the Town Hall, and the Baroque Orthodox Church. The journey proceeds inland to the village of Stankovci, where visitors can explore a family-owned estate and enjoy traditional Dalmatian hospitality. A picturesque drive back to Šibenik highlights the stunning coastal and rural landscapes of the region.

Please note: A moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 1.2 km (0.8 miles). At times over uneven, unpaved grounds in the countryside and cobblestone streets with mild inclines in Sibenik Old Town, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at some of the sites. Lightweight, comfortable clothing with flat, closed toes, non-slip walking shoes, sun protection are recommended.
