Chef Gisela Schimtt

At 22, Gisela Schmitt switched from an advertising career to the cuisine of an incredible restaurant in New York.

Having gone through renowned kitchens inside and outside Brazil - such as Barolo, Loulou, Cocotte, ABC Kitchen and Julia Cocina - Gisela adds to her work the peculiar touches of each culture that she experiences in her travels of deep research of culture and food.

She was a consultant for restaurants and bars in São Paulo, Praia da Pipa (RN), Paraty, for which she structured the kitchen and menu design, staff training and the organization of all functional logistics. Major companies in the sector, such as O Buffet França and executive aviation catering, Marcia's Catering, have used her consultancy skills for new and creative dishes and menus.
