Rostock

Your journey begins with a 30-minute coach ride into the city of Rostock. On the way, you will be introduced to the area of your port of call whilst you perceive a first impression of Rostock's different districts.

University Square

Arriving into the city center follow your guide on a brief walking tour that leads you to the University Square, and its playful fountain. Founded in 1419 the beautifully brick-red Alma Mater is the oldest university in the Baltic. Enjoy a walk through the consecrated gardens of the Holy Cross Convent before making your way to the new market. View the oldest building that houses the town's library today, and enjoy an awe-inspiring inside visit of St. Mary's Church to listen to stories out of its history. The astrological clock of St. Mary's is the key feature to visit in there.

Local Microbrewery

After your guide has familiarized you with Rostock's changing history, you'll visit a local microbrewery. There you will taste the fruits of their labor, a glass of beer, along with a typical pretzel.

Sightseeing Cruise to Warnemunde

Having renewed your energy, embark your sightseeing boat for a 45-minute cruise from the port in Rostock to the port in Warnemunde. Once you arrive in Warnemunde it is a short walk back to the ship.
