Depart the pier for the short drive to Otanlahti Bay. Upon arrival, proceed to the kayaking base at the Poroholma Holiday Centre. Here, receive your kayaking and safety instructions, along with your requisite safety and kayaking equipment. Afterward, embark your kayak and begin your guided, approximately three-hour kayaking adventure.

During your kayaking tour, take in splendid panoramic views of the coast, islands and diverse birdlife whilst admiring the stunning scenery and natural beauty of the Rauma Archipelago. Along the way, a stop is made at a nearby island for a coffee break by an inviting campfire. After this relaxing respite, embark your kayak for the return ride to the mainland. Upon arrival at the kayaking base, return all provided safety and kayaking equipment, then re-board your coach and commence the short drive back to the pier.
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of paddling for approximately 2.5 hours and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 547 yards (about 500 metres), at times over uneven and sandy surfaces, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the kayak. This tour is recommended for guests in good physical condition, and can swim well. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with back and/or neck problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory problems, guests prone to seasickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear warm, comfortable sportswear in layers with flat, closed-toe sneakers, and bring sun protection, a towel, change of clothing and weatherproof jacket from the ship; jeans and high-heels are not permitted. Guests must be at least 12 years old to participate on this tour, and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at least 18 years old. Children aged 14 years or under must ride in a double-kayak with an adult; a limited number of double-kayaks are available for two adults, too. Guests must be at least 3'11" (about 1.2 metres) in height to participate on this tour. Guests weighing more than 242 pounds (about 110 kilograms) may not participate on this tour. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. This tour operates in wet weather conditions, and a basic rain jacket, life vest, helmet, kayak, paddles, spray decks, and dry bags for each guest's personal items are provided. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
