Proceed by vehicle into the picturesque Serra da Tronqueira, the core of the Priolo’s habitat. With a guide, discover ongoing conservation projects while having the chance to observe this rare species in its natural environment. A guided stroll through the Laurissilva forest unveils the diversity of Azorean endemic plant species and underscores the significance of habitat restoration. The experience is further enriched by a visit to native plant nurseries in Santo António, where local species are nurtured for ecological recovery, providing a glimpse into the hands-on efforts involved in forest restoration.
