Husky Home

Just a short distance away you will arrive at a Husky Home where the remote location and minimal light pollution offer optimal conditions for witnessing the natural phenomenon – northern lights. Upon arrival you will meet more than a hundred Alaskan Huskies and your host will tell you how they are trained, socialized and fed, and you can collect first-hand experience as you cuddle with these friendly and active canines. Inside a warm Lavvo, a Sami tent, your host will treat you to warm beverages and share stories with you around a fireplace. Learn about the significance of aurora borealis from your experienced guide and gaze into the night sky in hopes of witnessing the polar lights dancing above you.
