Paranaguá was the first town in the Brazilian state of Paraná, founded in the 16^th century. It has several interesting colonial buildings that show the Portuguese heritage of the first settlers. Several of them are now being restored and some resemble former times in their facades.

Please note: A moderate amount of walking and standing for approximately 1.2 km (0.75 miles). At times over uneven, bumpy and cobblestone surfaces (and inclines), with few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and at the local museum.
