Experience Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on a multi-day journey through Argentina's subtropical rainforest. Explore the Argentine side of the falls, including the Upper and Lower Circuits, before continuing to Punta del Este to rejoin your ship.

IMPORTANT NOTE

This Overland Experience requires advance booking no later than 90 days prior to the sail date. Requests received after this date may be accommodated on a space-available basis. Tickets are available in limited quantities, and participation cannot be guaranteed for those guests not booking well in advance. A minimum number of participants is required to operate this programme. If this minimum number is not met, Silversea reserves the right to offer the programme at a different rate based on private arrangements, or to cancel the specific departure. Cancellation fee, unless otherwise advised, 90 - 0 days prior to the initial sailing date: 100% of the programme fare per person is due.

Payment in full is due at time of final payment.  Bookings made within 120 days of sailing require full payment within seven days of booking or sooner, as specified by Silversea.

All Land Adventure fares are subject to change, and not guaranteed until payment is received in full by Silversea. All Land Adventures are non-transferable, and non-refundable, within 90 days of sailing. Minors under the age of 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 years of age or older. All Land Adventures are owned by independent contractors, and Silversea makes no representations and assumes no responsibility for the services provided by these operators. Land Adventures may be modified by the operators at their sole discretion.

VISA INFORMATION:

Please check with your travel professional for details regarding visa requirements for Brazil and Argentina. It is the responsibility of each guest to obtain all appropriate visas before cruising.

LOCAL CURRENCY:

The local currencies are the Argentinean Peso (ARS); however, US Dollars are well-accepted by most vendors; local ATMs are available in some locations visited, and major credit cards are accepted in most larger shops and hotels (shopping stops are not planned during the program).

Day 1 - Buenos Aires to Iguazú

Following disembarkation in Buenos Aires, transfer to the airport for your flight to Iguazú. Upon arrival, proceed directly to Iguazú National Park, where lunch is served at a restaurant within the park.

This afternoon, visit the iconic Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo), the most spectacular section of Iguazú Falls. Accessed via elevated walkways, this impressive viewpoint offers close-up views of the immense volume of water plunging into the gorge below.

Following your visit, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Dinner is served at the hotel and includes a set menu with selected beverages. Overnight accommodation is at the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas (or similar).

Day 2 - Argentine and Brazilian Falls Experience

After breakfast, transfer to Foz do Iguaçu National Park on the Brazilian side of the falls.

Enjoy a comprehensive visit of the Brazilian Falls, offering panoramic views across the entire waterfall system. During your visit, experience the Macuco Safari, an exhilarating Zodiac-style boat excursion that navigates close to the falls, providing a unique perspective of this natural wonder.

Lunch is served at a restaurant within the national park and includes selected beverages.

Following lunch, return to the hotel. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure, allowing time to enjoy the property's facilities and unique location adjacent to the falls.

Dinner is served at the hotel and includes selected beverages. Overnight accommodation is at the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas (or similar).

Day 3 - Iguazú to Buenos Aires

After breakfast and check-out, transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for check-in. Lunch is at leisure and the afternoon is free for independent exploration or relaxation.

This evening, enjoy a memorable dinner accompanied by an authentic Tango performance, showcasing the music, passion, and culture for which Argentina is renowned.

Following the performance, return to the hotel. Overnight accommodation is at the Park Tower Hotel (or similar).

Day 4 - Buenos Aires to Punta del Este

After breakfast and check-out, enjoy time-permitting sightseeing in Buenos Aires while en route to the airport.

Thereafter, continue by flight or ferry to Punta del Este. Upon arrival, transfer to the pier and rejoin your ship.

Important Details

• This program spans 4 days and 3 nights, beginning in Buenos Aires and concluding in Punta del Este.

• Included are economy-class flights between Buenos Aires and Iguazú, Iguazú and Buenos Aires, and transportation between Buenos Aires and Punta del Este by flight or ferry, subject to final operational arrangements.

• Accommodation includes 2 nights at the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas (or similar) and 1 night at the Park Tower Hotel (or similar).

• Included meals consist of 3 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 2 hotel dinners, and 1 dinner with Tango show. Included beverages during included lunches and dinners consist of one soft drink and one glass of wine per person.

• Guided sightseeing includes Iguazú National Park, Devil's Throat (Garganta del Diablo), the Brazilian Falls, Macuco Safari boat excursion, and time-permitting sightseeing in Buenos Aires.

• Airport, hotel and pier transfers, entrance fees, and services of professional English-speaking local guides are included throughout the program.

• Guests should expect extensive walking at Iguazú National Park, including sections with steps, boardwalks, cobblestones, and uneven terrain. The Macuco Safari boat excursion may not be suitable for guests with mobility limitations.

• Flights include one checked bag up to 33 lbs. (15 kg) and one carry-on bag up to 18 lbs. (8 kg). Excess baggage charges may apply.

• The order of visits may vary depending on weather conditions, operational requirements, flight schedules, park regulations, and local conditions.

• Guests and personal belongings may be exposed to water spray during visits to the falls and during the Macuco Safari experience. Appropriate footwear and light rain protection are recommended.
