Meet and Instruction at the Tender Dock
Your adventure begins at Cruz Bay’s tender dock, where your friendly guide will meet you and escort you to the adventure outfitter. There, they will introduce you to the kayak and snorkeling gear, providing easy-to-understand instructions suitable for first-timers. No prior kayaking experience is needed—just a willingness to enjoy the water.
Paddle to Scott Beach
Once equipped, set out on a guided paddle along the North Shore, approximately 40 minutes across calm, protected waters. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights about the island’s marine ecology and natural history, pointing out interesting sights and marine creatures beneath the surface.
Snorkeling at Scott Beach
Upon reaching Scott Beach, you’ll have about an hour of free time to relax and explore. Snorkel in the crystal-clear, shallow waters, often visited by graceful sea turtles and a vibrant array of tropical fish and colorful coral formations. Lounge on the powdery sands, soak up the sun, or unwind beneath the shade of swaying palms in this pristine marine environment.
Return Paddle and Disembarkation
After your snorkeling and beachside relaxation, your guide will lead you back on the paddle to Cruz Bay, a journey of approximately 40-45 minutes. Once ashore, it’s just a short 100-yard walk back to the tender dock, completing your memorable sea kayaking adventure.

Please note: This active excursion involves 40-45 minutes of paddling each way (approx. 1.5 hours in total) and snorkelling once at Scott Beach. It is not suitable for guests who utilise a wheelchair or have limited mobility. A waiver must be signed to participate. Please consider your level of physical fitness and comfort in the water before participating. Guests should be comfortable in water and able to swim. Children aged 8 and older are welcome. Wear suitable swim/beach attire and bring a towel and ample sunscreen and other sun protection.
