Excursion Lysefjord by yacht tour at Stavanger
Cruise line: SilverseaDifficulty:
Universally recognized as one of the world’s most spectacular natural settings, the Norwegian fjords are more picture-perfect in person than any coffee table book has ever presented them. And Stavanger’s Lysefjord might as well be the centerfold. During this three-hour cruise aboard a spacious private yacht, you’ll be privileged to have a perfect vantage point for surveying this breathtaking landscape – and will likely be compelled to take more photos of its beauty than any friend back home can endure viewing!
As you snap away, feel free to also sip away on the complimentary glass of sparkling wine provided. And by all means, listen closely to your onboard guide as they point out key landmarks – from hidden waterfalls to über-famous Pulpit Rock ledge – and share intriguing facts and legends about the fjord and how it was formed geologically. But keep in mind, with sheer walls over 1000 meters high surrounding you on both sides, this a landscape truly beyond words.
Once the yacht ties up back at the dock, your Silversea ship is just a short stroll ahead.
