Explore the resplendent beauty and biodiversity at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain, which is home to over 8,500 species of indigenous plants. Depart from the Cape Town pier and travel 45 minutes towards Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, skirting the slopes of Devil's Peak.

One of the world's most famous Botanical Gardens, Kirstenbosch Gardens is spread over 560 hectares that invite you to take a leisurely stroll through these beautiful surroundings. Embark on a 90-minute guided tour led by a professional horticulturist or botanist (subject to availability).


The magnificent landscape of Kirstenbosch is also a perfect setting for art. The Garden presents a variety of art exhibitions, both outdoor exhibitions of long and short-term duration, as well as indoor art shows and exhibitions in the various venues at Kirstenbosch.


There is also be some time at leisure available for browsing in the well-stocked souvenir shop.


Afterwards, make the 45-minute return trip to the pier.

Please note: This tour has some walking on paved surfaces with some inclines. It is not suitable for guests with limited walking mobility, but can be managed by guests who are wheelchair users, with an assistant. Comfortable clothes and walking shoes, as well as a sun hat, are recommended.
