Note
Please note: This tour involves an extensive amount of off-road driving and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.37 miles (about 0.6 kilometres), at times over uneven, cobblestone, rocky, bumpy, sandy, and natural surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the Jeep, and uneven steps and rocks at the sites visited. The ride may be rough at times, and guests will experience bumpy, jerking motions. Walking at Curral Beach is at the discretion of each guest. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with insect allergies, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear a swimsuit under a cover-up with flat, closed-toe walking shoes, and bring sun protection, insect repellent, a towel, change of clothing, bottled water, a plastic bag to keep your wallet, cell phone, camera, and/or photographic equipment dry, and local currency or credit cards for purchases from the ship. Food and beverages are available at restaurants and bars at Curral Beach at each guest’s own expense. Due to the protected eco-system environment on the island and clean, running water from its waterfalls, a small insect commonly known as a ‘borrachudo’ can be found here. As a result, insect repellent is highly-recommended and guests with any type of insect allergies are not permitted on this tour. Expect hot and humid conditions. This tour will not be cancelled due to rain only, but, in the event of heavy rain, wind, and/or fallen trees at the Three Tombs Waterfall, guests will be taken to the Agua Branca Waterfall. Whilst your ship will be notified as far in advance as possible, the decision to move the location of the waterfall visited may occur at the last minute, and without prior notice. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. The tour sequence and timings may vary.
