Depart the pier for the scenic, approximately 30-minute drive south to the Natural Park of Ses Salines, one of the most beautiful and pristine areas in Ibiza. The salt production activity carried out in this area for hundreds of years has formed a unique landscape, a wetland where numerous bird species roost and nest in their migrations.

Marine & Coastal Eco-Systems, Posidonia Oceanica

Countless ecological, aesthetic, historical, and cultural values concentrated on approximately 7,413 acres (about 3,000 hectares) of land, and approximately 32,124 marine acres (about 13,000 marine hectares), await your arrival. The coastline of the Natural Park of Ses Salines is the perfect interaction between marine and coastal ecosystems. The Posidonia Oceanica of the Reserve was declared an UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999, and named as the best-preserved of its kind in the entire Mediterranean basin.

Guided Hike, Panoramic Views, Defence Tower, Las Salinas Beach, Swimming, Refreshments

Upon arrival at Ses Salines, take a guided, easy hike. Along the way, enjoy amazing panoramic vistas at every turn, and learn all about the ecosystems and history of the salt industry. Marvel at one of the jewels of the park, a Defence Tower built in the 16th century to protect Ibiza from pirate attacks. Following your hike, some free time is made available to relax on famous Las Salinas Beach and take a refreshing swim in the turquoise waters. Afterward, proceed for refreshments and local specialities at the Boutique Hostal Salinas. At the conclusion of your visit, re-board your coach and commence the approximately 30-minute drive back to the pier.
