Ise Jingu Geku
Your tour begins at the pier, where you board a comfortable coach for a 30-minute transfer to Ise Jingu Geku (Outer Shrine). Dedicated to Toyouke-Omikami, the deity of daily necessities, Geku offers a peaceful introduction to Ise’s spiritual heritage. You’ll walk along tranquil gravel paths surrounded by centuries-old trees, experiencing the quiet reverence of this sacred place.
Ise Jingu Naiku
A short drive brings you to Ise Jingu Naiku (Inner Shrine), Japan’s most important Shinto site and home to Amaterasu-Omikami, the Sun Goddess. The visit begins by crossing the symbolic Uji Bridge, marking your entrance into a deeply sacred realm. Inside, you will explore serene pathways, ascend approximately 100 steps, and soak in the shrine’s mythic atmosphere while surrounded by pristine nature.
Okage Yokocho
Your journey continues to Okage Yokocho, a vibrant district designed to evoke the charm of the Edo and Meiji periods. Here, you’ll enjoy free time for lunch on your own, browse traditional shops, sample local specialties, and pick unique souvenirs. The area is mostly flat, with a few steps at certain storefronts.
Afterward, you will return by coach (30 minutes) to the pier, concluding your cultural and spiritual experience.

Please Note: This tour involves gravel paths, up to 100 steps, and extended walking (2.5km - 1.55 miles); it is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or wheelchair users. Coaches have wheelchair storage but no ramp or lift. Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes, lightweight clothing, and bring sun protection. JPY cash is recommended for small vendors in Okage Yokocho, though some shops accept credit cards. Photography and video are prohibited in certain areas inside Ise Shrine; please follow your guide’s instructions. Restrooms are available at Geku, Naiku, and Okage Yokocho. Lunch is not included, and guests will have free time to dine at their preferred venue. Complimentary water is provided on the coach; there is no onboard toilet. Japanese yen is required for any purchases: guests are advised to exchange money at the airport prior the cruise. Local Tour Guides tend to have a strong accent therefore we urge flexibility.
