Koala Conservation Reserve

Depart the pier in Rhyll for a short scenic drive to the Koala Conservation Reserve. Upon arrival, step onto elevated treetop boardwalks that offer an unparalleled eye-level perspective of koalas in their natural habitat. Wander through the peaceful native bushland and keep an eye out for wallabies, echidnas, and native birdlife as you immerse yourself in this protected sanctuary. Walking around the reserve is at guests’ discretion.

Panoramic Sightseeing and The Nobbies

Continue along the island’s southwestern coastline to The Nobbies, where free time is available to explore clifftop boardwalks. Marvel at the dramatic “Blowhole” and enjoy sweeping views of Bass Strait and Seal Rocks, home to Australia’s largest colony of fur seals. Capture the rugged coastal scenery and take advantage of photo opportunities amid the spectacular landscapes.

Cape Woolamai

Before returning to the pier, the tour makes a final stop at Cape Woolamai, the island’s highest point and a renowned surfing destination. Pause for photos of the striking pink granite cliffs and the golden beaches stretching below.

Afterward, relax on the return drive through rolling countryside to Rhyll pier.
