Saaremaa - the biggest island of Estonia, 2922 km2 (1128 square miles) in area, is known as a good recreation place with unique nature and a lot of sights. In the villages, there are still stone fences and farm houses with thatched roofs that cannot be seen elsewhere in Estonia. Junipers, dolomite, windmills and local home-brewed beer are the symbols of Saaremaa.

The tour starts from the harbour with a drive through the island to its capital town Kuressaare, located on the southern coast of Saaremaa.

Kuressaare obtained city status in 1563 and it has existed since then under different names. The historic German name, Arensburg, was replaced by Kuressaare in 1917.

Carved out of a majestic natural setting, the Saare Golf course layout takes advantage of nature's handiwork to offer a memorable challenge to golfers of every skill level. The 18-hole, Par 72, 6310 meter course was designed by the well-known Finnish course architect Lassi Pekka Tilander. Its scenic, undulating fairways form a natural extension of Saaremaa's unique wilderness. In the facility are also included a driving range, 2 par 3 holes, practice bunkers, putting and chipping greens.

Upon completion of your round of golf, your transport will be waiting to return you to the pier.

Please note: Tour involves moderate walking and includes roundtrip transfers, golf bag trolley and green fees. Club rentals are available for approximately 10 Euro and must be reserved in advance and paid directly to the pro shop. Golf carts are limited and on request directly from pro shop for 40 Euro per cart. Proper golf attire is required for play. This programme requires a minimum of 4 golfers to operate.
