Excursion Dunluce castle & the spectacular giant’s causeway tour at Portree

The spectacular Giant's Causeway and Dunluce Castle are two incredible Ireland landmarks.

Leave Belfast behind, and travel by coach north through quaint villages and verdant countryside, travelling to the ruins of Dunluce Castle for a photo stop. Dating to the 13^th century, the castle has long since lost its roof however, its two large drum towers and many of the walls remain intact. The Castle's windswept location on the Craggy Coast makes it a truly awe-inspiring vantage point.

Continue onto the Giant's Causeway's 40,000 stone uniform columns, formed millions of years ago with the cooling of molten lava. Exploring the cobblestone-like paths, it is easy to see why the Giant's Causeway is a World Heritage Site, a National Site and a National Nature Reserve.

Please note: This excursion involves strenuous and extensive walking, making it not suitable for guests with walking difficulties. There are uneven surfaces and steps at the castle, and stones at the Giant's Causeway can be very slippery. Flat, non-slip shoes are highly recommended.
