Depart the pier for the approximately 0.43-mile (about 0.7-kilometre) walk to the e-bike meeting-point. Upon arrival, meet your guide, receive your safety briefing and instructions on how to use your e-bike's on/off switch, controller, gears, brakes, etc. E-bikes are provided for everyone to assist with pedalling, and a great way to stretch your legs but not feel like you've spent the entire day on a bicycle. Afterward, begin your scenic and invigorating e-biking tour, which includes a total riding distance of approximately two-three hours.

Marina District, Basilica of San Saturnino,Sanctuary of Bonaria

The tour begins in the lively Marina district where you cycle past the bustling harbor and Su Siccu area, before heading towards the Basilica of San Saturnino (external Visit), one of the city’s oldest and most significant religious sites. A short break at the Sanctuary of Bonaria will allow you to admire stunning views of the sea and surrounding area.

Villanova district

Next, you ride throught the picturesque Villanova district, pedaling along narrow streets and quaint squares before crossing the Terrapieno and enjoying breathtaking panoramic views of Cagliari. the journey continues as you pass through the historic Porta San Pancrazio and Porta Cristina, two ancient city gates that mark the entrances to the medieval heart of Cagliari.

Castello district, Roman Amphitheater

The final leg of your tour takes you to the enchanting Castello district, known for its cobblestone streets and medieval architecture. Here, you’ll discover the Roman Amphitheater and enjoy stunning views of the city and the coastline before returning to the Marina district. Upon arrival, return your e-bike and safety gear, then at the conclusion of your tour, commence the approximately 0.43-mile (about 0.7-kilometre) walk back to the pier.

Please note: This tour involves a moderate amount of e-bike-riding for approximately two-three hours and a moderate amount of walking for approximately 0.93 miles (about 1.5 kilometres), at times over uneven, natural, and cobblestone surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the e-bike. This tour is recommended for active guests who are in good physical condition, know how to ride a bicycle, and/or have previous electric-biking experience. This tour is not suitable for pregnant guests, guests with neck and/or back problems, guests with heart and/or respiratory conditions, guests who suffer from vertigo, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility, and guests who utilise a wheelchair. Guests are advised to wear lightweight, comfortable sportswear with flat, closed-toe walking shoes or sneakers, and bring sun protection, a sweater or light jacket, bottled water, and Euros or credit cards for purchases from the ship. Guests must be at least 14 years old to participate on this tour; minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian over the age of 18. Guests must be at least 18 years old to be served alcoholic beverages. Guests must be at least 4'11" (about 130 centimetres) in height to participate on this tour. Guests taller than 6'0" (about 185 centimetres) cannot participate on this tour. Guests weighing over 264 pounds (about 120 kilograms) cannot participate on this tour. Bicycle helmets are provided, and must be worn the entire time whilst riding. Guests are not permitted to take pictures whilst riding the e-bike; photo stops are made during the tour. Although frequently encountered on this type of tour, wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. A signed waiver is required to participate on this tour. Operation of this tour is subject to weather conditions. The tour sequence may vary. Space on this tour is extremely limited; we suggest you book well in advance to avoid disappointment.
